A lovely sunny morning tempered by a brisk and chilly NE wind. Cliff was in situ when I arrived and as seen in the previous post was sighting common dolphin out in front of the lookout. Once my kit was set up I started tracking them too. Soon after they moved off to the west with some returning later to feed in the tide race off the lighthouse. As the tide built it was the turn of the porpoise to come in and feed. Several animals observed in the tide race with the favoured spot being off Mackrel Point. Most of the action then got pushed west on the tide so I ended the session and made for home.
