A bank of thick sea mist shrouded most of Fishguard Bay and the surrounding coast for most of the morning today and I wasn't hopeful of any visibility at Strumble as I left home. As I arrived the mist had eased somewhat and there was at least some water showing beyond the tide race. The Thursday crew were in attendance led by Fran and they had seen a couple of Rissos Dolphin before my arrival. Things were quiet for a while and as the tide race picked up I spotted a few porpoise at distance off to the North. They came closer later in the survey although the misty conditions were making it difficult for the cameras. These shots (heavily processed) were the best I could manage under the circumstances and are far from what I would hope to get. They serve as a record though and are better than no shots at all.
