Strumble Diary 27/01/2022

I feel it's becoming incredulous now that here I am again reporting large numbers of Commons off Strumble today. As over the past week or so I was counting in the 100's actively feeding in a wide area from the NW to the East of the lookout. More wind today meant bigger waves than of late so a lot harder to pick them out given relatively poor light early on as well. Only a few closer in though with the main action happening over half a mile out in the flooding tide. The Thursday survey team led by Fran arrived late morning and all got to see at least some of the dolphins with a few porpoise making a show as well.

Let's see what tomorrow brings!
