Common not common in Cardigan Bay?

Nick o'Sulivan who is currently based in Aberystwyth (Tope fishing with angling clients), tells me he had a small pod of circa 6-8 Common Dolphins come in to bowride as he was heading towards Bardsey Island about 16 miles NW of Aber' yesterday. Although commonly seen in Pembrokeshire waters they are pretty unusual in Cardigan Bay, particularly that far north,(unless somone knows better!). Certainy, they are the first Nick has seen on his annual trips up there. He also tells me that there are often a couple of Bottles hanging around the Harbour Mouth which were also seen yesterday. (As per Karens reports)
