Tony and Stevo Lucas joined me for a look off the Outer Breakwater which we do most days . With a SW gale blowing we were not expecting much but a dozen gannets feeding in the tide rip off Pen Anglas point revealed between 4-6 Bottlenose Dolphins below them , obviously also feeding. It was a bit wild and they moved out into the choppy water after a few minutes and we lost them but I suspect they will not be far away. If the wind dies down in the morning it might be worth looking for them from Fishguard Fort or The viewpoint at the end of Harbour village. Even in this stormy summer there are cetacean to be seen all along the Dolphin Coast!
