Whilst Ian Hotchin was sailing around Fishguard Bay this afternoon, he spotted at least two Porpoises feeding below some Gannets off Pen Anglas Point. Yesterday, Verena, Cristina and the Walrus headed off to Newquay in hope of some Bottlenoses to finish Verenas stay with us on a high. Strangely we had a couple of Porpoises when we arrived, the first I have ever seen so close in to the harbour. Sadly the porpoises being there probably were telling us the Bottles were elsewhere! sadly we saw none.
As I write this Verena is hopefully somewhere over the North Sea, safely on her way home!
