Bottles Back?

It's been a while since we saw our friendly bottlenose or at least it seems like that. I think we are so used to seeing them that when they miss a few days you wonder it that's it for this year. So it was lovely to see Apache & Ringo + one other back today although the "one other" seemed to leave part way through our viewing. I spotted them first from the beacon at Harbout Village so took one confirmation shot before heading to the breakwater. They were right at the far side of the bay and were just cruising up toward Pwllgwaelod and back again. Cliff joined me and we waited and waited to see if the'd turn our way. After a long hour they did and slowly came across the bay with the other having departed. As they reached us the Lucas family arrived and Stevo with camera in hand was soon snapping away. Sadly the bottles didn't stay to play and were on their way back across the bay just a few minutes after reaching us. Ah well that's wildlife for you. Hopefully we'll see them again soon.
