Back on dry land... Strumble Diary 19/12/16

Back on Terra Firma today and with the constraints of short days got out reasonably early to catch the last of the making tide.
The last of the tide.
I probably missed the most of the action but there were still a few estimate: circa 10-15 of the rear guard feeding with attendant gulls that i managed to shoot although Ken would have despaired of the poor light.
None the less, i got a few decent record shots and a click count done so another day and more evidence of the fact Strumble HIS a SPECIAL AREA for HARBOUR PORPOISE (what part of Special and Area does JNCC not understand???

Sadly no sign of the Risso's or Common Dolphins this morning although visibility was pretty good with a calm sea. These shortest of days and often poor weather dont help but we will probably have another look this afternoon if it stays dry.
