A very windy and cold day at Strumble with the SE wind whipping up a very choppy sea out beyond the tide race. A good distance out and a bit to the west were upward of thirty gannets when I arrived so I anticipated a good session. Wrong! The gannets may have been there in force but the porps certainly weren't. Only the odd glimps at a distance (first image) and long periods of nothing. Stevo and Joel arrived part way through and even with three pairs of eyes it was a hard watch. Thankfully one individual came through close in later in the session so it is the star of the show for today.
