Strumble Diary 25/08/2020 Morning Flood Tide

Well storm Francis can throw what she likes at us and our brave little porpoise will still come in to feed. Wind was Sw 5-6 as I arrived and increasing through the session was at at least a good gale 8 as I left. The porpoise were mainly feeding close to the lighthouse giving me some good views as they breached higher than normal to breath. Highlight was seeing six porpoise together with five breaching at the same time, not something we often see. Here's looking forward to the afternoon session which should be at severe gale force 9 or so.
