It's almost 22 months since our last survey on the Cartlet Lady in August 2019. To say it was a well anticipated trip would be an understatement. Cliff, Myself and a team of Sea trust suporters set sail yesterday morning in the capable hands of skipper Andy Rickards in glorious weather eagerly awaiting the day ahead. June can be a bit hit and miss cetacean wise so when we spotted several Commons in the haven near the Valero refinery we were hopefull this was a good omen. To start my account of the day here's some video of us enjoying the attention of around 50 of the more than 250 dolphins we saw on the trip. The stills images will follow.
