Strumble Diary 05/09/2021 More Tales from The point.

The SE wind was still keen this AM down at the point but the warming sun took the edge off it somewhat. I was looking forward to the sort of day I'd had yesterday with eight porpoise feeding in front of me for most of the morning. Things in nature seldom work out that way though and you have to take what comes along or does not as the case may be. I waited until well into the tide before I got my first sighting of a pair moving in from the NW. Slowly they came up the tide race and I'd lose sight of them for short periods as the dived deeper to feed. They did eventually reach the point and stayed feeding for around twenty minutes or so giving me time for plenty of shots. It went very quiet after they left but the consolation was four Grey Seals (1 male 3 female) seemingly courting in a small cove below my viewpoint.
