Strumble Diary 27/06/2024

A stunning afternoon at Strumble today with air so clean and fresh I'd swear it was made this morning. A stiffening westerly wind but with excellent visibility all I needed was the porpoise. As the tide race built up on the dropping tide the porpoise did indeed come in to feed. several animals through the session surfing on the by now large swells with quite a bit of dash and splash as they darted around chasing fish. Quite difficult to get the lens on them at first as they were not showing very well but things did improve and I did manage some shots. As often happens though it was over all too quick and they soon moved west past the lighthouse with the tide.

Photo Bombed by a pair of gulls.
