Today Sea Trust Wales was hosting our patron, naturalist and TV presenter Iolo Williams. After a presentation talk at Theatre Gwaun with Nadia and a superb lunch at the Ocean Lab, (big thanks to Lisa and the cafe staff) where he met our excellent maintainance team he joined the Porpoise photo ID volunteers for a survey at Strumble. Thankfully the weather had imporoved enough for it to go ahead, but with a stiff SW wind whipping up the sea sighting anything was difficult but we did manage to see several distant porps showing very briefly. Our thanks go to Iolo for sparing us the time in his very busy shedule and wish him well in his busy year ahead.
