Strumble Diary 9th/10th June 2025

Two very similar days separated by a pair of Canada Geese. Both days with similar conditions being slightly overcast at first, brightening up as the day progressed. The tide race was lumpy and disturbed making it very difficult to track the very fast moving Porpoise as they sped through chasing prey. A low flying pair of geese was the only notable birdlife apart from the usual Gannets and Gulls. Today 10th I was joined by Carrie who was the only one on survey today. We both struggled to photograph the porpoise in the conditions and they were not showing particularly well to start with. Strangely, I did see another pair of Canada Geese today but flying high over the lookout. My session started at 10am and I brought it to a close at 12.45pm.
