Thursday 15th August
My Dad and I went to Mwnt at 1pm for our 2 hour watch.
At 2:30pm we spotted a mother Harbour Porpoise with her calf and they scarpered off in a hurry
because of the arrival of 4 Bottlenose Dolphins also with a calf they came very close right in front of Mwnt headland.
They travelled very steadily westwards towards Cardigan Island out of view from where we were watching.
Their behaviour was interesting.
And then we also saw 2 seals during our watch.
The sea condition was quite choppy frequent whitecaps from the N Westerly winds with sunshine and showers
P:S we are very concerned about the lack of sightings of Bottlenose Dolphins this year at Mwnt as well as the Common Dolphins further
out to sea
