Hi Cliff,
Hope you are well.
I did a Strumble watch this morning between 7am and 10.30am. I saw 2 lots of Risso's the first at 7.35am a pod of 7 animals which included 1 calf. There was a further pod of 3 adults at 8.45am. All these animals were feeding in the tide race or beyond.
Yesterday (1st) at Strumble I had a nice closely packed group of 9 harbour porpoise actively feeding in the running tide race. They consisted of mixed adults and calves.
Nice one Elfyn! also whilst Powell Strong and Hannah Harries wre delivering our Sea Trust Pembrokeshire College Wildlife Observer Wales Seals course on Tuesday, a group of Risso's turned up just off St Davids Head! more from Hannah later...
