| Bottlenose Dolphin in Fishguard Harbour today. |
Eddie Sinnot our fisherman friend told me a Dolphin had followed his boat and was hanging around the harbour this morning.
We arranged a pass with Stena and went to have a look. It was hanging about in the area where the Stena Europe berths but seemed fairly mobile and will hopefully move out back to sea but we will be monitoring the situation. This area is strictly out of bounds so the best public viewpoint would be from the eastern breakwater. The dolphin is an adult Bottlenose and has a fairly distinctive fin so we may be able to get it identified by our colleagues at Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre, more later...
