Whales in Wales

Despite the weatherman saying we were in for a days rain it turned out not too bad and so it was I headed off to Strumble Hd around 11.30am. Ebb tide was in full flow some three hours after high water with two or three porps off the lookout as I arrived. The main action though was to the west of the lighthouse with upwards of twenty Porpoise feeding vigorously in the tide race. Normally they move off with the tide but when I left around 3pm there were still a good number there. Light was quite poor so not too many photos but at least it stayed dry. Wind Eastery 3-4 and sea state 2-3 Vis good.
