happy ending for the Manx Shearwater!

Yesterday, a lady from Stena line kindly came into Ocean Lab to tell us there was a Manx Shearwater that may have been injured, found at the ferry terminal, and was at the security hut. Cliff's partner Freddie mentioned to me that it might just need a helping hand to get off to fly so I went down to check, saw he was ok and eventually took it to the end of the north breakwater where I launched it up into the air. I watched him fly into the distance for a bit so hopefully he's fine now. Many thanks to the kind lady from Stena who came to tell us.
