Benjamin and Julia joined me on the Outer Breakwater yesterday morning. It was cool breezy and overcast and to begin with little sign of the dolphins although several Gannets were congregating out towards Dinas. Island. We chatted and scanned the grey white horse studded bay with dwindling hope but stuck to the task. After about half an hour I noticed five Kayak's making their way out of Pwllgwaelod and then saw the Dolphins breaching right next to them almost landing on top of them. It must have been thrilling, perhaps a bit scary! Sadly I missed getting any good shots as they were a long way away but it was good to see they are staying with us!
This morning still quite choppy but a single porpoise seen off the end of the breakwater!
