Ruben, Ruben, Santiago and self did a record breaking click count that produced a mind boggling 1,128 surfacings over the hour! It was flat calm and animals were visible right across our field of view near and far!The light played strange tricks as can be seen by the pictures of what looks like an animal almost as big as the Kayaks but in reality was a porpoise! when I first saw it i mistook it for a Minke Whale! Mothers and calves were also recorded. On a slow scan I counted 42 separate animals and our estimate went up frm 40+ to 80+ which was probably a conservative estimate!
