Strumble Diary 05/03/2017

There's nothing that stirs me into action quite like a good blow from the NW on a sunny day at Strumble and even better still if the porps are out feeding as well. An hour or so of spare time today and I was off. I arrived at approx 10.45am around an hour and a half before high tide. A good swell of around 15-20ft at times with the direction allowing a good view between the tops and troughs. Waves were sloppy though which made me work hard to catch the action but at least they were there. Several porps at irregular intervals kept me on my toes and I made my way home as the ferry approached at around 11.50.
