A brief session at Strumble today towards the top of the tide was porpoise free but away in the distance a dozen or more gannets were only just discernible at a distance of at least three miles. Beneath them was some cetacean activity which was resolved as several animals breached revealing them to be common dolphins. Difficult to estimate numbers but at least ten or so!
