Two seperate groups of Common Dolphins about 1 mile north of the breakwater this afternoon, both groups heading East about 400 yards apart. The second of the two diverted to the boat, and inspected closely the rudder, bow , keels, and, I think, me as well. I was becalmed at the time, so had a magical few minutes peering over the side of the boat watching the dolphins a couple of feet beneath me.
