Porthcawl DOLPHINS

It is not often I can title a post Porthcawl Dolphins. We are just too far up the Bristol Chanel to attract dolphins regularly but this week we hit the jackpot. On Monday a local boat was out angling and came across a shoal of mackerel off Sker Point. As he returned to Porthcawl he was accompanied by a pod of common dolphins. He had a number of photos using his phone with 3 animals showing but the size of the pod is unknown. They ended up quite close inshore off Rest Bay. I did a survey the following morning but not even a porpoise!
