Well pretty much back to normal today. An early start in the hopes of a repeat of the commons coming in to feed as they have done for the past three days. No shutch luck today I'm afraid. The wind was a stiff NW leaving the remnants of the flood tide like a washing machine. Very confused water and some very choppy conditions. Sightings were good to start with but tailed off as the tide eased. So to the ebb tide and whilst the porps came in to feed it was just dash & splash as they powered their way through. It was only as the flow eased that they started showing anywhere near well enough for some shots. The bonus in between was a sighting all be it distant of a group of around eight Rissos. The final indignity of the session was being photo bombed by a gannet. Lined up on a porpoise pressed the shutter as it surfaced only to see a gannet streak into shot at that moment. Don't you just love wildlife.
