Strumble Diary 18/4/21

An afternoon visit on the ebbing tide was reasonably productive in terms of porpoise sightings but most were either too brief or distant for me to get a shot of any of the animals. One very pale animal with a dark fin stood out but again i was too slow to get a shot. As a point of interest as the tide flowed East to West, instead of flowing and curling around the lighthouse /Ynys Meicle it came around from Mackerel Rock and sort of dog legged straight out to the North away from the lookout. Its something I have witnessed before but I have no idea why it does that!
