Strumble Diary (belated) 28/07/2021

A day late getting this one out but here it is. An afternoon session on the ebb tide and I was hopeful of some decent sightings as there was a good swell running. Holly and Eva were nearing the end of their survey when I arrived so we had some 45 mins crossover. The wind was up and although it was forecast as Westerly it seemed to be swirling in all directions meaning very little shelter outside the lookout. Things were quiet at first as it was relatively early in the tide and it was a while before we had a few sightings. After they returned to base the number of porpoise picked up but so did the wind and I was soon forced inside to avoid the buffeting the camera was getting.

The sightings were very brief for most of my session but one or two did give me a couple of photo ops. These are the best of the bunch on what was quite a difficult session.
