I was half a mile short of Strumble and I could already see a good number of gannets out over the sea off the headland. As I suspected, on my arrival there were Common Dolphin feeding out in the growing tide race. As I settled in at the lookout I began to do an estimated count arriving at a number between 60/80 well spread accross my view. With so many dolpins feeding in the tide race I wasn't expecting to see many if any porpoise, and so it turned out to be. I don't know how long the commons had been there before I arrived but they stayed for a good three hours giving the Monday team of Fran, Rob, Chris and Andy some good views during their survey. Also got a good view of the fisheries patrol boat "Rhodri Morgan" as it passed heading into Fishguard. If you'd like more detail on it look here: https://www.mainstaymarine.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/WG_26m-Rhodri-Morgan-Spec.pdf
