Average to poor light conditions set the tone for today's survey with a high but thickish cloud layer keeping things fairly flat lightwise. The winds were light from the west with good viz at the start of the session. First sighting of any porpoise were out to the west as the flooding tide showed the first signs of disturbance as it built up. Holly arrived with volunteer Eva with Brett and JJ two work experience students also in attendance. As the session progressed the porpoise moved east with several animals happily feeding in front of us but mostly at distance. Several singles with a pair and tripple seen later in the session. All told I estimated between 12/15 for the nearly three hours that I was there. Pics not so good today but a record of them being there at least.
