Strumble Diary 07/03/2022

A beautiful but chilly day at Strumble today. Blue skies a calm sea and excellent visibility brought hope of a fruitful session. Fran and Andy (Mr Bottles) had been there for a while before I arrived and had seen only a couple of porpoise at distance. After their session ended I settled in for my stint just as the tide race was starting to form. A few porpoise came in close so some good pics ensued. Through the session I saw upward of twelve porpoise in all with most being down tide to the west at distance. Bonus sighting was a pair of Risso's Dolphin way out to the west. Shame they weren't closer but I was happy to see them all the same.
