Strumble Diary 14/07/2022

A different day and different conditions. Gone is the still air and in comes the cooling NW breeze that also takes away the dreaded heat haze. With wind against tide there was a fair swell in the tide race today as it fell away toward low water. I had decided to get lower to the water and so headed down to the point rather than staying on the clifftop where I normally sit. Was it a good decision I asked myself afterwards. Well I'm not so sure it was. The swells were large and at times obscured the darting porpoise as they chased their prey at great speed. Tracking them was extremely difficult and maybe I would have been able to follow them better from the higher vantage point. It is what it is though and so I have to settle for what I got. The new gear got it's first serious outing and the results were very pleasing but I always push to get the best and I'm very critical of my work most times. I enjoyed the challenge all the same and hope you all enjoy the results.
