Fran's Monday group, Nadia, Zoe and Steve. Took position on the point just above Mackerel Rock a couple of Hundred metres away from the lookout where I was positioned.When we had compared notes at the end of the survey we had both spotted a group of Commons at long range heading in from the north towards the tide race on the turn of the high tide! I estimated between 30 and 40 animals although they stayed relatively distant. Porpoises were seen throughout (11-13.00 hrs) in small numbers and Fran got some good images considering the distance! Nice porp shot from Nadia!
