Strumble Diary 11/10/2022

A good weather day with excellent visibility gave optimism for a good session. I arrived just after 9am and had the whole place to myself. First sighting were a couple of very distant Rissos dolphin which soon move off to the west and out of sight. As the tide turned a pair of porpoise again distant showed for a few minutes. All quiet then for a good while. Cliff arrived and shortly after that the Tuesday survey team turned up.  A visiting school group from Gloucester also joined us for an educational session. Holly gave them a briefing and Binos were handed out to those who needed them. Shortly afterwards we spotted several Rissos off to the north and Northwest with several animals breaching, much to the delight of our young visitors. The odd few porpoise were recorded during the session with none coming close.
