Strumble Diary 19/04/2023

All You Need is patience

I say that because some days it can be so frustrating. The easterly wind was chopping up the waters and the water was lovely and clear in the sunshine. I was later arriving than I'd hoped but the porpoise were still there feeding off the lookout. I was able to see them darting around under the surface but the little devils were hardly breaking the surface to breath with just a little spray to even suggest they had surfaced at all.  So Frustrating!!! I did manage to get some pics though but sadly not enough of the porps visible to be considered for ID purposes. But there's always tomorrow, at least that's the way I look at it. 

I've also thrown in at the end a cheeky little shot of one of the number of Stonechats that breed at Strumble this time of year.
