A phone call today from Adrian to let me know that an old mate, Red Lifford had a pod of Six Risso's on Sunday at Strumble as well as another single sighting in rough conditions yesteraday, all adults.
Adrian added another to the score today, despite mountainous seas, all Cristina and I could add were circa 6 porpoise of Pen Anglas and a few more closer in from the Fishguard Harbour outer breakwater. I just caught Red on his way home, which was a treat to meet one of the "old school" naturalists !
