Hi Cliff
Better conditions this morning as the weather seems to be calming down for the weekend. On a day off so we ventured out to St Davids Head and had it all to ourselves. Got there around 10am at the top of the flood tide, and there were 3 porps feeding just south of the tip of the Head only 50 to 100 metres from the cliffs. Looked like an adult with a calf and one other adult. Very quiet otherwise with only 1 Gannet seen, and a couple of seals. Wind 1- 2 southerly, sea mainly calm inshore.
Regards

Yep Phil, weather good and we did a last minute Stena Europe Ferry Survey (Fri/Sat). The weather was brilliant as we headed towards the Irish Coast , warm, overcast and for the last hour and a half almost millpond calm. We saw birds and flotsam but nothing except the odd porpoise , much the same on the way back, indeed plenty of porpoises, but where were the Risso's, where were the Common Dolphins. On past experience I would have betted a leg on getting some of both on both crossings but zilch, where are they???
