Cartlett Lady 12th June

Stevo's report:
We started in Neyland and headed out south west onto the open sea. Soon we began to see a variety of seabirds such as Gannets ,Cormorants, Puffins,  Herring Gulls, Greater Black Backed Gulls, Razorbills, Guillemots, and Storm Petrel . The highlight of the trip was 108 Common Dolphins in a mini superpod with their calves , they were all around the Cartlett Lady swimming and enjoying themselves in the sunny conditions  and then suddenly a distant  Minke Whale was sighted  briefly.  Next  we made tracks towards the islands where we spotted  more  Common Dolphins and more seabirds like Kittiwakes , Fulmars and Manx Shearwaters .Everybody had a good chance of taking photographs and videos .A good voyage was had by all! A very successful  trip until we got back to our homes and we all say what an awesome day it has been, full of smiles and happiness. We all recommend a Cartlett Lady Dolphin Survey with the Sea Trust team .And there is a video link to come   about the Common Dolphins that we filmed on the open  Irish Sea. Also there are pictures on the facebook (Sea Trust) website to see. Fantastic.
