An early morning fishing trip in search of elusive mackerel proved to be unsuccessful for a couple of anglers I met at the slip this morning . However they had seen quite a few porpoises off Pen Anglas and in Fishguard Bay round into Newport Bay and back again.
This is good news as Stevo and Joel drew a blank at Strumble yesterday. Hannah and the Walrus also failed to record anything from the Caravan off Pebbly Beach! Probably just a matter of the tide and a choppy northerly making things a bit difficult I expect!
