Hi Cliff,
How’s things? Hope the trip to Mull was great.
I’m pleased to report that this evening (Monday 20 May 2019) I saw a group of cetaceans in Newport Bay. I’m assuming bottlenose though I was a long way off on Traeth Mawr and my little bins are not very good. I tracked them from just off Cwm yr Eglwys towards Newport between 8 p.m. and 8.15 p.m until losing sight of them off Aber Rhigian. At least 3 individuals though there may have been one or two more. One quite big guy and a couple of smaller ones doing some impressive synchronised vertical leaps right out of the water.
See you soon I hope,
Best,
Paula
