Quite excited today as I was able to photograph a porpoise I haven't seen a quite a while (maybe three years or so) so am very pleased with myself, although it was seen last month on one of the surveys. Fran and the Monday crew were also in attendance and on a strong ebbing tide we settled in for a much warmer session than of late. The tide was strong and the action short as they were quickly pushed back to the west of the lookout. Some seven or eight animals seen as an estimate but no matter what the numbers it's always good to see returning porpoise.
