A short (9-10 am) visit with perfect conditions (S/S 0- 2) and good visibility allowed observation of up to a couple of miles or more where anything moving was pretty obvious.The tide race was hardly formed although resting gulls and gannets were being noticeably carried along on the rising tide. Porpoises showed throughout but all quite distant A slow count produced a tally of six well spread out animals from about 10 o clock to 2 o clock At one point a pod of five or six animals showed together travelling east but again too distant for photographs..
