Strumble Diary 01/02/2025

Another session and another 200+ Common dolphin Day. I arrived around 10.15am and found volunteer Maddie and another gent photographer (Mark) from Cardiff watching several commons off Mackerel Point. A closer scan of the vista in front of me showed there were dolphins in all directions, some feeding and others just milling around. We continued watching the various groups moving around and one group in particular had two very active juveniles which were breaching just for fun. Sadly Maddie had to leave which left myself and Mark having a great chat while observing the antics of the commons plus a couple of seals pairing up. If you read this Mark, it was good to meet up and I'm sure we'll do it again sometime.

No porpoise sightings again today, but not unusual in such strong tides.
