A double header today as I caught the rising tide this morning 8.am and hope to get out for the dropping tide this afternoon. First sight was of a single common dolphin foraging off the lookout, it then moved off to the east. Very little bird activity with just a few gulls sat on the water and some passing auks. It's funny how it goes with the gannets though. A pod of around 15-20 commons came in from the East and from no gannets at all visible, within ten minutes, there were at least forty wheeling and diving amongst the now actively feeding dolphins. The light was good leading to some excellent shooting conditions. Let's hope it holds up for this afternoon's session.
