As part of our 2013 campaign to highlight the need to properly protect our porpoises we are trying to watch Strumble and click count them as often as possible. Our recent attempts have been thwarted by huge seas but even in the tumultious maelstrom inshore I spotted a couple amogst the crests and troughs on Wednesday morning.
So far this month we have managed to confirm that the porpoises are there in some numbers that that there were small calves present. It will be interesting to note what we see in February if the storms relent enough for us to get a decent view!
