After the success of the Stena Nordica trip earlier in the week, I took advantage of a little weather window to do a survey on the Stena Europe this weekend . Saturdays outward leg was flat calm and we picked up a total of eight porpoise sightings. Regretably today was choppy with bright glare and lots of sun, so although we had some nice seabirds (see pembs bird blog http://pembsbirds.blogspot.co.uk/ ) we totally blanked on the cetacean front.
On the other hand Sea Trust volunteer Barbaraq Davies seemed to catch the Easter bunny hanging out on the bridge wing whilst I was probably elsewhere ...
