Stevo and Tony's Sea Trust Porpoise Watch!

Monday 27th May
Dad and I went to Strumble Head for the.
Bank Holiday Monday Porpoise watch at 2:30pm.
It was pouring with rain when we arrived and we were surprised to find two families there , who had braved the awful weather.
We soon spotted a couple of Harbour Porpoises and there were hundreds of Manx shearwaters flying past.
There were also one or two seals and a few gannets flying around.
By the time we left at 4pm it was still drizzling, and about 30 people had attended altogether.
During the watch we saw a total of about 6 porpoises.
It was the last of the ebb tide and the wind was
Southerly force 4.
A very successful watch

Cheers
Stevo and Dad
Its really great I can go away for a day or two and our volunteers deliver the goods, well done!
