Sunday 20 December 2015

The way the weather has been lately I wondered if it would ever clear before Christmas. Today though the skies cleared long enough for me to grab a couple of hours out at Strumble. So with a very brisk breeze and a rolloing swell coming in from the west conditions looked good. I arrived about 12:20 and saw quite a bit of bird life passing while some twenty minutes or so passed before sighting the fist Porpoise. Several animals came in to the race to feed for about an hour or so with my last sighting around 13:50 or so.

Brilliant again Ken, thanks for this! lets hope they turn up for...Join our Sea Trust New Years Day Porpoise Watch 2:30 at Strumble Head Lookout (Near Fishguard)
