Strumble Diary 08/03/16

The intention today was to get out early to catch the drop down to low water. The weather though was abismal and didn't clear until around 11:30 ish. A quick jaunt more in curiosity than anything else got me there about 12.15, just in time to catch a few porps off the island before thay headed away on the tide. Jump forward a few hours and Cliff and myself got there about 4 ish at the start of the rising tide. A good number of porps were well out in the tide race with the odd few coming in closer. An hours watching was enough to get a feel for the numbers before the light faded away.
